I remember Carlton swinging from the light bars 50 feet over the stage at Wasatch JHS (9th grade) with a leaf stuck in his zipper, when faculty advisor Kenly Whitelock, who was widely known as "old lefty," popped in for a suprise visit on the stage crew. Everyone had ducked out the opposite stage door and left the auditorium dead silent until Whitelock roared at the stage crew to get Tarzan down from the light bars.

Carlton was such a funny guy. He always had us laughing. We were friends from way back. Time went too fast!
