I remember Carlton swinging from the light bars 50 feet over the stage at Wasatch JHS (9th grade) with a leaf stuck in his zipper, when faculty advisor Kenly Whitelock, who was widely known as "old lefty," popped in for a suprise visit on the stage crew. Everyone had ducked out the opposite stage door and left the auditorium dead silent until Whitelock roared at the stage crew to get Tarzan down from the light bars.

Carlton was such a funny guy.  He always had us laughing.  We were friends from way back.  Time went  too fast!

I knew Carlton in high school just to say hi but in the early eighties he started a job across the street from my work and we became really close friends and did a lot of things together with our families. His wife left him in the ninetiees and he never could get over it and decided to end it a few years later and it still saddens me to this day. I feel like I've lived anther two lifetimes since then and just wish I coukld have done something ro make a difference. He was a great guy and as always I hope he's in a good place now. RIP Buddy
