David lived only a few houses east of me. He died at only 31.
He had the same the operation that I had to fix a broken nose. Only he didn’t make it out of the operating room. They couldn’t stop the bleeding.
He had a fun, daring personality. He was 6’7” and we played a lot of basketball together. Nobody messed with him. When we would walked down the halls of Skyline together even the biggest and toughest football players moved out of our way.
He loved cars and loved to drive them fast. He showed me how to drive through red lights without a scratch. That was pretty crazy.
David and his brother Victor always won the annual pinewood derby. It wasn’t even
close.
I was fortunate enough to see David before he passed. I got to meet his wife and kids. What a blessing
