Joylee was my childhood friend. She lived around the corner from my house. We loved listening to the Monkees, walking to the grocery store to buy an avocado. She was kind and generous. She made me laugh. She had a great family with parents and two brothers. Marcia Smith and I attended her funeral. Our young woman leader, whom we loved was in attendance also.
