David Loe Nicponski

Dave (Nic as I called him) was always fun to be around. we both hung out in the gym and weight room, while he played football, basketball and baseball, none of which I played we alway got a long well. I really got to know Nic when he was a working as a lobbyist at the Capitol. In my capasity as the Executive Director of the Captol Preservation Board, I had to approve the various events. Every year he would sponsor or orgnize an event. I was alway happy when he would come rolling in, in his wheelchair and say in his own unique way "How the heck are you Dave". We would then talk a little about the old days. I have to say Nic was never one who complained about the loss of his legs, and he never let it get in his way. I alway admired that. I was really sad to learn of his passing and was hoping he was going to be at the reunion.
